a choice betweentaking a walk to the mall or riding a cab... walking is a great form of exercise plus it's free!.. but it is physically taxing at times and the heat/cold is a shunning aspect of walking... a taxi cab, though there is a fare, provides comfort and refuge from the sun or the cold.. but it does make waste of our bones and muscles..(okok.. this case is only applicable to the malls that are a bit near to the point of origin..)..which do you choose?
now.. these choices are quite common and may be a bit arbitrary.. but there comes a time when choices become harrowing and your decision will affect how your life will course through the arteries of time...
I'm just gonna provide one example......one question to be exact...
You have a special someone.. who makes you feel so comfortable and so safe...... you know that no danger will befall you when you're with that person..your life will be normal and calm and unassailed...... and you're pretty sure it's love...
but there is someone else...
someone who's debonaire.. bad and dangerous... whenever you're together... passion and fotuity are afoot.. you feel the fires in your body and soul.... but you are not sure if it's love or what...
and you had to make a choice.........

as a sort of finale to my titas' trip here in New York.. we once again braved the cold and went to go bargain hunting in ChinaTown..coz you know,, AZN RULES!! (asian rules-some sort of slogan by the asian-americans.. :) )
again.. I was able to haggle down the price of the caps and sunglasses that I bought.. hehehe.. I was also able to buy my first pair of skinnys.. skinny jeans are, as you may know, all the rage in avant garde male fashion.. lol.. well..actually... in milan.. tights are the fad for men.. New York hasn't caught the TightsFever yet.. but wouldn't that be fun?.. men wearing tights.. hahahaha.. :P
the store had a sale and I was able to buy my Levi's Skinnys that would have probably cost around $70-80 for $40.. wow.. and then I also spotted this black Calvin Klein sweater.... As some of you may have noticed.. all my sweaters are BLUE.. and I'm fuckin' tired of the blue sweaters already!!!!.. so I bought it.. well.. it's actually my auntie who bought it...
the only question is.. I don't know if it's for men or women.. coz the tag says it's large... and it's just snug on my bodee!.. so it's either I'm starting to become obese or I may have bought something for women.. hahahaha.. but it doesn't look distinctly FOR WOMEN ONLY... so WHATEVER!!.. it's fab..

I just finished watching "Little Children" starring Kate Winslet and Patrick Wilson.. it's a very deep and borderline disturbing depiction of people's need to rebel against the traps set by society and of people's needs to feel alive.. It delves into illicit and torrid extra-marital liaisons.. pedophilia... and how those caught up in it attempt desperately to atone for their transgressions..
The question is... which rock have I been living under that I wasn't able to detect in my radar the oooohh-lala-ness of Patrick Wilson?.. i mean.. I watched Phantom of the Opera like...50 times!(He's Raul).. and I even passed him off then as a geeky-poof-type of guy... But in Little Children..Non monsieurs et mademoiselles!.. Il est formidable et beau..ET CHAUD!! TRES CHAUD!!!.. those sex scenes really gave him a lot of points in my book..lol..I guess shorter hair does work for him.. Again.. CHAUD!!**nearly faints**

I find that I can somehow relate to them because beneath their facade of aloofness.. there is a hidden story of human interest that gives a prelude to why they are like that.... that or it's just because they loooove couture!..lol

we once again braved the cold of the Eastern Seaborad today.. and braced ourselves for what might be a repetition of the disastrous "Manhattan Landing" we attempted 2 weeks ago...
But we had come prepared... this time.. we made sure that Manhattan would no longer make us feel like immigrants...though we are.. hahahaha!!(thunderous laughter)... PREPARE FOR ASSIMILATION..
We went first to the site where the World Trade Center used to tower over its relatively liliputian neighbors..now..all that remain are crains and the remnants of a staircase that probable spanned 1000 feet.. We went there to get our Unlimited Ride Card for the MTA or the Metro Transport Authority known more popularly as the Subway.. like the Unlimited Text offers of Globe and Smart and Sun Cellular.. New Yorkers enjoy unlimited access to the Subway Network every week.. but ofcourse..it comes at a fee..

Mom and I ate lunch at a Chinese Restaurant where they priced by the pound... Immediately, my mouth watered at the sight of the food.. grilled shrimp.. chicken with brocolli.. pork and beef and other foods, the preparation and cooking of which I have no idea.. All I know was that hunger overtook all my senses and I just placed food after food into my plate.. It cost us about $16..hehehe.. :P
Then.. it was off to shopping.. I was SO happy that we were able to buy leather gloves from Century 21.. I tell you.. come to New York when they have slaes because the price drops are to die for.. I bought my pair of gloves for $16.. so did my mom..
A subway ride away.. at the mouth of China Town.. I bought a Kenneth Cole jacket.. YEBA!! BRAND-WHOREDOM at its finest!!!.. and again.. it was on sale.. THANK GOD because it's SOOOO GLAM!!!
Siyempre we went to Times Square.. I could only imagine how it would have felt if we were able to go to the New Year's Celebration there....
